they say he took off and ran his car into a fence. we go live to the scene jeff? >> reporter: this is on the corner of virginia and alvez the 82 year old was watching television when this crash happened to. the suspects' vehicle plowed right into the front fence. it kept moving and crashed into her car. the suspect vehicle it is this blue sedan very badly damaged. this is completely destroyed. the suspect got out and ran away. >> i heard the sirens and i heard the crash. >> reporter: and you came out and what did you see? >> i came on and i saw that my car was parked here. and its return to it around, they're >> reporter: she says that this is not the first time like this has something happened. they believe that the suspect is somewhere in this area. however, he is still on the loose. reporting live from bay point, kron 4 news. >> in a separate incident. contro costa county authorities are searching for a parolee on the run tonight in baypoint. according to the sheriffs fence. to find him >> this was after a shooting at the bart station. a man is in critical condition tonigh

for a serial rapist. who has attacked at least two women in the last six- months. kron four's jeff bush explains what happened, and shows you who police are looking for. >> the richmond police have been handing out fliers like this. this is believed to be the same person, one with short hair, one with longer hair. the first attack was on a june 6th, the victim was approached from behind and forced into a car. on november 20th, another attack this woman was followed for a short time and he was also trying to coax her into the car. she was able to get away. the next day, november 21st, another victim was also being followed. the suspect tried to get her into the car and she refused but this time he foerster in the car with a knife. she was taken into. >> this has been in the 22nd street corridor. the same general area. >> they are warning women to be careful, and to walk in groups and at night especially after dark. jeff bush, kron 4 news. >>pam: new video tonight. from the scene of a head-on collision in eastern contra costa county. that killed a woman and a young boy. the c-h-p says, an

police say a driver ran into the group. jeff bush is live. >> reporter: wean just a little bit about -- we know just a little bit about this incident. to my right is the twin peaks overlook, where you can see san francisco from twin peaks. a driver hit four people, knocking one of them 30 feet down this steep ravine. the fire department had to rescue that person. she went to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. a suspect was arrested a short time after, not too far away from this situation. four people were in that vehicle. we're not sure if drugs or alcohol were involved. but there has been an arrest. four people were hit. two people with nonlife-threatening injuries, two people with life-threatening injuries. more on this story as we get more developments. live in san francisco, kron4 news. >>> major charge s underway in curry village at yosemite national park where the hantavirus outbreak started in the summer. >> 10 people got sick from the hantavirus. three eventually died. park officials decided to demolish some of the tent cabins where it's believed the victims were i

burglaries which started this week in a well-lit part of town. jeff bush is in foster city with the details. what happened? >> reporter: this is one of the quieter communities in the bay area. but police remind residents that they are not immune to crime here. at least eight vehicles were broken into her on shell boulevard. it's a big street, well-lit, across the street from the library, and just across the corner from city hall. but thieves broke into the cars by smashing the windows and they took things like gps device, cellphones, purses and christmas presents. then it happened again last night! police want to remind people who are living here in foster city or coming to visit, it is important to take all of their valuables out of their car before they go to bed. >> apple's c eo, tim do you knowing, announced -- tim cook announced it will produce one of its existing lines of computers in the united states next year. he did not say which line, where, or how many jobs would be involved. but this announcement is a sign that more manufacturing jobs will be returning to the u.s. due to the

and traffic. kron four's jeff bush shows you what it was like today at union square. >> traffic has been crazy down here at union square but those who chose to drive had to be patient because it's been a slow roll all day long. the drive down oferrel street was a slow motion affair and it took several cycles of the traffic lights just to move a block. it was a convergence of pedestrians and other drivers and total gridlock was often the case at any given intersection within a mile of the square. to remember the victims of the school shooting. kron four's jeff bush was with a group in san francisco and talked to people directly affected by gun violence and this weeks shooting. several dozen gathered at the playground in dolores park at sundown. it was a fitting place to remember the young lives that were lost on friday. reading of names. everyone was clearly moved by the east coast mass murder but stephanie dalton had a heavier heart than most. stephanie dalton knew one of the victims i work with jazz muscians and a very dear friend of mine, jazz saxaphonist, jimmy greene, who is a very beautiful person who's five year old girl, ana greene was lost. >> stephanie could not contain her emotion when she showed me the picture of her friend's daughter. >> ana was just bright and full and what everybody told me she had the whole world with two loving parents and a father who writes and plays the most beautiful music. >>reporter: megan scully has also been directly affected by a mass shooting. megan scully shooting >> i lost my brother at 101 california 20 years ago to a similar incide
